FAQs

Can we arrive earlier/check out later?
Unless otherwise agreed we ask guests to stick to check in (1600) check out (1000) times.

How do I book?
We are currently working on an online booking system which we hope will be up and running soon. Please contact us directly (either by phone or email) to place a booking. We require a 20% deposit to secure dates with the remaining amount due 6 weeks prior to arrival. You can view our pricing and availability on each property’s page.

Can we bring a dog?
All our properties are dog friendly and we love to welcome your furry friends. We ask that guests let us know if they are planning on bringing their dog so that we can send a copy of our ‘Dog Friendly Policy’ to ensure we will meet your needs. Alternatively you can view it here.

Do you have risk assessments in relation to COVID-19?
Yes we do! If you would like to see a copy before your arrival please let us know. Laura (Property Manager) and our other main cleaner Karen have also completed a ‘COVID-19 Holiday Let Cleaning Course’. Laura’s certificate been viewed here. As well as this we meet the standards set out by Visit Scotland meaning we are ready to re-open. Our ‘Good to Go’ certificate can be viewed here.

Do you have a cleaning protocol?
Yes we do! All our properties are cleaned to the highest standard with the appropriate products. Please let us know if you’d like to see a copy.

What is your cancellation policy?
Any cancellation made by the Holiday Maker for whatever reason must be in writing. Every effort will be made to re-let the cancelled holiday let but, failing this, any money paid is non refundable. We strongly recommend clients take out their own Holiday Insurance policy. You can view our full Terms and Conditions here.

What about a cancellation due to COVID-19?
If the government imposes restrictions due to COVID-19 that mean you cannot come on holiday we will firstly look to move your booking to an alternative date. If this isn’t possible we will refund any money paid. You can view our full COVID-19 policy in our Terms and Conditions by clicking here.

Are there any extra charges?
The price you see on our website is inclusive of all costs (including dogs). If a property was not left in a reasonable state on departure and it required additional cleaning guests would be charged at the hourly rate for this. This would of course be communicated ASAP.

Do you provide linen and towels?
Yes we provide high quality linen and towels for your stay. For our properties with hot tubs we provide separate towels.

Do you have highchairs/cots for infants?
Yes we can supply these for you. Please let us know at the time of booking and we will ensure they are in the property for your arrival. We ask guests to bring their own bedding for little ones.

What do you provide in the kitchen?
There will be t-towels, oven gloves, washing up liquid and a small supply of dish washer tablets, cloths, sponges and bin bags. There will also be a supply of cleaning products including high grade disinfectant.

What about tea, coffee and other essentials?
We will supply a starter tray of tea, coffee, sugar and a pint of milk. There will also be salt and pepper. Unfortunately we have removed any other food stuff like oil and herbs to reduce the need to disinfect these items.

Do you provide disposable gloves?
There will be a small supply of disposable gloves and hand sanitiser in the property. Please bring your own face masks if necessary.
