Aberfeldy is a great rural town and has lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and a cinema! The place is ideal for any outdoor sport. We have lots of lovely coffee shops, bars, restaurants and even a community run cinema! If you're after a more active stay, Aberfeldy is ideal for pretty much any outdoor sport. You can find some of the best Munros on our door step as well as canoeing, kayaking, river rafting, climbing, biking, fishing, shooting, quad biking...the list goes on! You can book a lot of these activities directly through our sister business ‘Ocean Alba’.
The surrounding area can also keep you busy for weeks (if you have that much time to spare!) Follow the river Tay 6 miles west of Aberfeldy and you’ll find Loch Tay, the largest loch in Perthshire. Take a drive up Glen Lyon to experience it’s Munros or simply to enjoy tea and cake in Bridge of Balgie. Head to Fortingall to look in awe at what is argued to be the oldest living organism in Europe, the Yew tree. Or you can pop over to Pitlochry for an evening at the theatre. If you’d like any advice or tips on what to do during your stay don’t hesitate to get in touch.
